Who are we?
We are a coalition of Gulf Coast living history organizations dedicated to preserving and recreating the military, civilian, and cultural history of the American Revolution in British West Florida and Spanish Louisiana from 1779–1781. Through battle reenactments, living history encampments, and military demonstrations, we bring the overlooked Gulf Coast campaigns of the American Revolution to life.

Daily Life
Explore the daily lives of civilians and craftsmen on the eighteenth-century Gulf Coast. We showcase the clothing, trades, and cutlery of the colonial frontier.
Munitions & Warfare
Experience the weapons, tactics, and drill of 18th century warfare. From frontier skirmishes to siege warfare, we recreate how soldiers fought during the American Revolution on the Gulf South.
What is British West Florida?
British West Florida was a British colony created in 1763 after the end of the French and Indian War, when Britain acquired Florida from Spain through the Treaty of Paris. The colony stretched along the Gulf Coast with Pensacola as its capital.
Spain retained control of New Orleans and the vast Louisiana territory west of the Mississippi River. This created a tense frontier where two rival empires suddenly bordered one another along one of the most important waterways in North America.
